OMLOCK system

Conventional system
with contact only on one line |
In order for an axle to fit through an opening, its diameter should be smaller than the hole.
In an
OMLOCK system, the radius of the pin exactly matches the one of the hole and the load does not rest on a line, but on a half-shell-shaped surface; this results in a most favourable load distribution.
In conventional structures, the axle stresses on one single line, which will soon cause the gap to distort and induce play.
